About Donna Buckley

Donna Buckley is the Assistant Head of Mathematics at John Curtin College of the Arts. She specialises in mathematics, cybersecurity, cryptography and the integration of programming across the curriculum. Donna is forging the way for authentic STEM learning experiences in year 11 and 12 by developing a VET course for students with a cyber security focus. She has presented on these topics at Mathematics, STEM and Cyber Conferences across Australia.

A Board Member of the Maths Association of WA Board, she coordinates Maths Talent Quest, encouraging students to consider real world problems. She also tutors at the Perth Girls Programming Network, is a Day of STEM Champion teacher and collaborates with learn-tech i.o on curriculum and AI education in schools.
