Being women in cybersecurity, knowing the skill shortage and challenges for women, Divya delivers mentoring program for National Associations of women in Operations (NAWO) for improving personal skill development, striking balance between work-family, and networking for young women. As the Cybersecurity Lead at Arc Infrastructure, specializing in a range of areas from technical initiatives to security analysis, providing inputs on cybersecurity projects. Divya has Masters in Computer and Network Security from Edith Cowan University and Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications. Divya understands Cybersecurity is not only just technology but also requires awareness among her employees, family and friends. Divya is responsible to run cybersecurity awareness program for Arc Infrastructure’s six regions across Western Australia, she believes awareness and cybersecurity resilience should start from home on personal security. Divya understands there is a concern of huge number of female students not choosing STEM subjects in their high school, which inspired her to start mentoring and public speaking at schools and universities to choose cybersecurity. She focuses to contribute and educate the awareness that STEM is a field for female children to study and the opportunities to excel. More importantly her speech aims and advocating that children should choose profession which makes them happy and emphasizing Technology and cybersecurity are one of them.
