About Philomena Bradley

Presented with a blank slate in the form of a new school, Philomena was faced with the challenge of setting up the Science department. She developed courses that identified Joseph Banks Secondary College as a STEM teacher development school, where every student, every teacher, everyday, was immersed in engaging courses that foster 21st century skills.
Philomena led the development of partnerships with Industry, local universities and education providers, that resulted in the enrichment of teaching and learning programs in the classroom. In her current role as the STEAM Learning coordinator, she builds capacity of students, staff and community members in ensuring students succeed in their personalised learning pathways, and are equipped with enterprise skills for their post-school endeavours.
