Danielle Hewitt

After discovering that she had an aptitude for customer discovery and an ability to quickly build rapport with people, Danielle recently transitioned from her role as an Experimental Scientist to a new position as a Technology Transfer Advisor. In this role, she uses her skills and capabilities to understand problems in the mining sector to help colleagues develop industry-valued technologies. Her ability to speak both “science” and “business” enables her to transfer information in both directions. Danielle uses the same tools and frameworks to help others in her community. As a Director for the not-for-profit organisation, Southern District Support Association, Danielle is utilising the same concepts to help guide their strategic thinking. She is also facilitating a business model development workshop for the Servant Leadership team at Mount Pleasant Church of Christ to help plan for the church’s future. Danielle is also using her knowledge and experience to mentor a team at UWA.
