Matthew works in Intelligent Asset Management with Woodside Energy, drawing on an extensive career in engineering, mantenance and operations. He is a passionate inclusion advocate and the first male co-chair of Woodside’s gender equality network, Gender Equality Matters, which has over 1200 members.
He is a mentor and STEM volunteer, and a Board member of the National Association of Women in Operations (NAWO).
Compelled by the desire to support people as they seek to understand the many issues related to gender equality, Matthew published the book, “Please Don’t Tell Me To Man Up”. The book is a curation of studies, articles, and other reference material, and provides a one-stop shop for those wanting to make the world more gender equal.
