Strengthening the MTP sector through R&D: How the R&D Tax Incentive helps to grow your business
The Research and Development (R&D) Tax Incentive supports Australian companies to innovate and grow their business by encouraging companies to invest in eligible R&D activities.
If you’re conducting or plan to conduct R&D activities and want to know how to offset your eligible R&D costs through the research and development tax incentive program, then this webinar is for you.
You will hear from a panel of experts on the following:
• benefits of the R&DTI program
• what defines eligible R&D activities
• who should apply
Joining us is Dr Manuel Zander from AusIndustry, who is an R&DTI Case Manager. He is passionate about seeing Australian companies increasing their investment in R&D and believes by accessing government support to conduct more R&D, companies are often more successful and contribute to economic growth at a higher rate than those that do not. AusIndustry is the Australian Government’s principal agency for delivering assistance, programmes and services which support industry, research and innovation.
Dave Sammut is an Associate at Access RnD Tax Solutions, who has worked for more than 25 years in active research, R&D corporate management and commercialisation, and in professional communications. Access RnD Tax Solutions helps innovative Australian businesses access and maximise their entitlements under the R&D tax incentive, the Export Market Development Grant and other Federal Government programs to maximise the growth of Australian companies.
Sue Mundy is an accountant/economist from the Australian Tax Office (ATO) and her experience in the ATO covers all taxes and client populations, delivering the R&D tax incentive since it began in 2012. She is currently responsible for the client experience of public and multinational businesses who claim the R&D tax incentive in the company tax return.
