Alexis is a young entrepreneur who at age 17 has created her own app called HerHelp which is a social networking app with an aim to encourage, guide and support young women through daily challenges providing them with a safe space for these girls to go.
Lexy McDonald is 18 years old and is currently doing a university degree. Throughout her schooling she noticed teenage girls really struggle with certain parts of themselves, whether it be their body image, or being bullied, and she believe lots of this comes from social media. Instead of waiting for a platform where I could share my message to help these girls I decided to make my own instead.
Her apps purpose is to empower woman to embrace who they truely are, as opposed to social expectations. The platform includes a networking forum which allows the users to communicate and share advice on experiences people may suffer with daily.
