Deanne Renting

Through her 15 year career in a variety of roles within the Oil and Gas industry, Deanne has not only found herself the only female in her team, but at times she has also been one of the few native English speakers. Spending time working in The Netherlands, Thailand and California as well as Australia, Deanne has demonstrated the ability to build relationships and communicate in various cultures and environments to achieve business results. One of her key strengths is bringing together individuals with diverse experience and backgrounds to solve complex industry problems. Deanne is a strong advocate for diversity in the workplace and has held various active roles in Chevron’s employee networks, including founding chair of Chevron’s XYZ network in Australia and past global advisory board member for this network. Chevron’s XYZ network supports employees in the X and Y generations through career development, mentoring and networking initiatives. Deanne has also mentored numerous technical professionals in the oil and gas industry, particularly women who are seeking to expand their leadership capabilities, and she is a regular speaker at internal and external events promoting diversity.
