About Jenni Harrison

Jenni is a passionate leader in technology and positive role model. A PhD-qualified medicinal chemist and MSc qualified in digital education, Jenni migrated her family from Scotland where she was delivering national multi-institution digital projects and initiatives advancing healthcare education, to become Head of Data and subsequently Director of Strategic Project and Engagement at the Pawsey Supercomputing Centre.  Jenni is presently Consulting with Data 61 (CSIRO) on risk associated with sensitive data.  Over her career Jenni has forged many effective research collaborations, has secured significant research funding and has developed strategic partnerships with many international organisations.

Jenni is an inclusive, strategic thinker who has credibility to lead on national STEM initiatives.  As an individual who is passionate about women in STEM, Jenni has presented about inclusion at several international STEM conferences.  An AICD graduate, with substantial governance experience, Jenni is also Chair of SHINE, a remarkable Not for Profit organisation based in the Geraldton region that collaborates with business and schools to actively engage with young female indigenous and non-indigenous students who are at risk of disengaging from the conventional education system.  Jenni is a lifelong learner and published author.
